I don't want to bother you too much, but is there anything you think should be changed for the remake? Two things that I'm sure of is that it should not have a chiptune soundtrack nor pixel art graphics, every game ever is doing it, and I don't even think it's that fit for the characters. I'm probably gonna go with hand drawn cartoon graphics.
You're welcome, I'm not entirely sold on the "fog" between the blue and green mountains tho. Here is a version with that removed and the background mountains made more detailed to fill the gap, you can choose for yourself.
Difficult question to answer, but one of the large discrepancies between the buildings and the guy, is that he has a black outline all over, whereas the buildings do not have this at all.
I also made a blatant lie to you, I realize. The Parasprites and Bugbear appear in the game, and they are characters from the actual show. Just none of the ponies.

I think you should remake the tiles, actually. Use the same color palette for the tiles that you used for the fighter.
This background and the entire scene looks so much like something on the Master System in my opinion.
