I'm having trouble making edits to a song I made. When I hit "save" nothing happens. The loading icon doesn't even come up. This has happened before I'm not sure why.
I really tried to get a submission in, I had a song started that was really fitting with the theme I thought. Unfortunately with my schedule right now, 1 week isn't enough time for me to finish a song, at least one that would be up to my standards and that I could be proud of.
I think that having one week to make something is a little easier to achieve for some art styles than others. For example, making a really detailed 3D model or a decently-mixed/mastered song can take a while. My suggestion would be to perhaps make this a monthly thing--it may be easier to be consistent if a new challenge is introduced on the first of the month and then we have the submission time be later on in the month--maybe at the 3 week point, then voting for the last week of the month.
If the goal of these challenges is to generate more quality art assets for the site, I think allowing people to take their time and make sure their submission is exactly the way they want it may get more people involved. I just think having such a short amount of time either A) scares people away who would want to participate because they feel they can't finish something in a week, or B) encourages rushed art that may not have realized its full potential.
This is just my 2 cents, not trying to criticize. I could see a few downsides to my idea as well. Anyway, I think these challenges are AWESOME and they really give me a reason to explore new avenues of creativity that I probably wouldn't have normally, so thanks for that :)
Oh, I assumed you meant Omnisphere 2. I haven't seen Omnisphere 1 for sale ANYWHERE. So the $500 Omnisphere 2 is all I could find :/ I just got the Arturia V collection 5 though, so that should keep me busy for a bit :)
Sounds amazing! I've been eyeing that one for a while, but it's a bit too pricey for me at the moment. I'm sure it's worth it, but I've been buying WAY too many plugins lately since I've started my obsession with analog samplers, so I gotta pace myself. :)

Here is my submission: https://opengameart.org/content/the-9th-circle
Awesome! Super excited to participate, should be a fun one for sure.
Sounds great! Very addictive beat.
So soothing. Love it, especially the cello.

I love how much space the track has. Very serene. What synths did you use on it?
Very cool! Getting a nice Final Fantasy 8 vibe from a few of these.
