I'm just now learning Blender, up until recently, I have pretty much been reliant on OpenGameArt and asset stores for any kind of modeling. I often look for them for artwork as far as 2D and sounds as well. As a programmer mainly, and trying to solo develop, any time I can save by out sourcing is great. Although, the majority of my stuff has just been prototypes, I feel that with a few of the assets I've gotten, I could release something fairly well put together. Overall, I would say it is definitely a viable option, as long as you're are producing assets that are of quality.
I'm with mousebomb on this one. With doing more and more coding I find myself reaching for the Wacom less and less. You my friend are a savior when it comes to 2D graphics for programmers. When I start making money off doing this I'll be buying you and Bevoulins items non-stop as well as donating. I've found a few artists on this site that I love and will definitely commission in the future.
This is going in my main project, but I'm currently not working on that game due to a halloween game I'm trying to release. When I go back to designing the other game I will send pictures when these have been implemented. Awsome work man, sames me a bit of time.
This is great, I'm trying to put together a game for Halloween, I think I will use this as one of the tracks, will make sure to credit you! Great work!

Thank you!
I used this for a YouTube video... :D
