The laser is moving in 4 directions (right, top, left, down). So yes to the second one with the face on the right side. My problem is, that the user has to be able to see the facial expression. Did a sketch similar to yours yesterday, but the laser is kind of too tiny to see if the face is happy or not. I can't make the laser bigger than this because I need the space in the scene for other things. Do you think it's possible to draw a happy face and a sad face to a laser this small which the user is able to recognize while the laser is moving?

But I have no idea how to put a mouth on the laser like this. On the snake it just works cause of the tongue. Maybe it is possible to "make" the laser happy or sad just with eyes on him?
