It's under a few open licences, but we still have to ask - we can't just use it under the listed lcenss? Did you pick the wrong licenses by mistake?
I hate to be picky, but Blender 2.74 still can't load the models. Apparently Blender doesn't like ASCII FBS files, even though it can, apparently, export them.
AutoDesk FBX converter ( http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=22694909 ) does seem to help, though, and it's free. So the models can be used as-is - just with a little mucking around.
Still, very cool model.
