I can help with this and there is a way to deal with the Unity issue as well, I just contact the artist my self. There's usually a nother place that they uploaded the works to as well. That will not have the (only can use in unity) bottle neck issue. So your still supporting the artist and not so much unity.
Thanks Kay yes I added the feet so they would stand better I like they way it looks with the original,
Nope don't have twitter it would just distract me from doing any work same reason I got the unpintrested add on more looking then working

Not sure what the game was called, or if it was finished? It was about 4 years back it was a hexed base browser game with woods mountains ect.. Sorry don't have anymore info on it. Maybe if my client see this he can bring more info to the topic. Don't want to step on any toes either...
Would love to 3d resin print these, for a board game, to cool Kay nice work just have to see how they look for printing...and cco very generous.... Will get back with results...
EDIT: had a few printer issues, made a magnetic build plate and was a little pain getting zeroed but here you go
Let me see what I can do I haven't touched the file in years.
But it shouldnt be an issue, not sure what animations I still have for it?
But I know there's a few attack animation what are you looking for walk death etc?
Blender should be fairly straightforward just select every thing you want the go above your items then rotate to what ever degrees you want then render to your output file location.
PS if your having issues with blender not sure how your going to fair with a game engine unless its very user friendly?
Like gamemaker if that's the case you should probably let me know as that may make it easier for me to help with that specific file format.
If its a different any info would also help to know what your target platform is.

Do you need a high poly version, or low poly?
If you also needing normals its best to go with high poly version (keep in mind a high poly version take longer to do and do cost more)
But are better if you ever want to 3d print if that's your goal?
Plus keep in mind also high end zbrush artist cost about 25$ an hour last I checked, but that's top of the line artists
