well i have a high poly model in the blender file, i used make human and generated a character with 17k tris(originally 32k but then i deleted the inside of the mouth and eyes), then i built the mesh around it. afterwards i tryed to bake a normal map but it has bugs. and i cannot fix it. iam not an expert in such things.
Thanks, i think this model is good as placeholder, just tryed to make animations, and saw that some joints have a bad bent(elbow, ankle, neck and fingers). i think i have to add there more polygons.
well iam going to try this to reduce the filesize http://tinypng.org/ maybe it helps. you know Flare is a playground just want to play around and test some stuffs:D

Well 512x256 was just one option . maybe 256x128 would be enought as well. have to test it first. about the Video RAM. i thought Flare use the Images which are currently required only. for example if iam in outpost i dont need to store the cave tiles in my video RAM. seems that my thoughts were wrong?

hm.. like the buttons more, its kinda too simple
how hot!!! a wooden ground is needed then we can use medival building to create an inside view
now a new cooler flare gui would be awesome ;)
