Yeah totally.  Three colors and that great Atari 2600 feel.  You could make the animations all jittery, haha.

Hey welcome!  I like the simple sort of minecraft style.  Not to be mean, but you might want to add some dithering to it.  This tutorial here really helped me (even though I haven't put it to use yet!)
