Using CC0 public license
Sunday, November 27, 2016 - 06:40

Using CC0 public license material you don't have to do anything, but it's nice to credit the author.

using CC by 3.0(or later versions) you must credit the author every time, and put in a description the details of any changes you have made, like sizes, colours, adaptations and some Authors might add certain conditions aswell which you will need to follow, I.e, provide a link to their website. You can find a short description of what the authors wishes you to do in the "credit/Atribution" box under their submission. And you must release your adapted work under the same license you got the original work.

think that's right, I can't speak for the other licenses as I don't use those.

hope that helps.

oh also, when you click on a submission you like, on the left of the coloum the license/s will be there, if you click on that license it will take you to the license conditions where you can read more about them.

You know what, you are not honest at all, your attitude "SUCKS", you have no respect for any artists at all, I cannot believe your ignorance and Surt is quite right, it does make all your submissions suspicious and I for one will not trust any of your work anywhere, should of known better really with a name like "section31" it's not a law that will save you all the time, or others who could be burned for your ripped off assets. I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

@snabisch Thank you

it is a shame, but Medicinestorm has clearly marked why, and instead of getting the ump about it, you should really be thinking about those reasons and accept them. Its to protect YOU and all those that would potentially use these assets from any come back later, whether or not they might be ok through some copyright or licensing issue, i can imaging working on a project for 2 years, and then to have the artwork/asset pulled because of a potential license issue, no one wants a pain in the arse like that, and would probly cause friction between the user, Author and OGA.So better to be safe then sorry, I can apreciatte you put a lot of effort into them, and i thank you for being honest, and you should be honest everytime.

These look cool, and there's lots of characters which will be useful, I have concerns over the license thou, I clicked your link, and it's all in Japanese, at the bottom it says "copyright 2004-2009" Mack, so does that mean there is no copyright now it's 2016, or are they even public domain now or at all?

I'm not sure what software your using so il have a go anyway.it might help.

for each different shooting angle your character has, I would consider this a different 'state'. And each state will have a different Sprite/animation or 'tile' in your case, either holding a gun or rifle,shotgun etc.

on those sprites you can select a 'origin' point so when your projectile is leaving the character it with leave from the 'origin' point or 'centred' point.

you may be able to code it in instead of using a different Sprite for each weapon, like using a variable instead.

Holding gun, 'origin'/'centred' point is x.y

holding rifle, 'origin '/'centred' point is x.y.

It might not help at all, but you never know.
