The third comment... My friend Kyle, indicated Heytor to me...
Full story: I needed images... couldn't find any... Kyle said about his friend Heytor... I talked to Heytor and he showed me some images... I liked the images... Now the issue: Kyle said it was drawn by AI, but Heytor said AI can do so much better than them... and I agree with Heytor! Then Kyle showed us some images drawn by some lousy AI... and it does look like these ones... probably the directors of the game Wesnoth are gonna think the same, and are going to ask questions about this. So I asked Heytor to post these images in this site to avoid this... and he did... but I think this isn't enough, and I REALLY want to create a map for my campaign. Then Heytor asked me if Kyle wouldn't publish some sound effects he made/mixed for me, "the tenth comment"... Kyle won't publish it and I'm gonna use the sounds anyway. That made Heytor question me as to why I made him post it here, since I'm going to use other people's work who haven't even posted it on any platform. Kyle doesn't want anyone asking permission to use his work or asking questions... so I said that to Heytor... and he said: SO DO I! I kind of made him do all this for nothing... *_* I believe he didn't like the fact that we were questioning their work... and Kyle said he won't answer anything (because Heytor is using Kyle's email). Now Heytor will either change to public domain or remove them (maybe I won't use it, I'm still working on the map. If I can create the map, I won't have to use these images). So that's the issue... he's gonna be questioned about these images, and he doesn't want that. It's all my fault... *_ * I asked him to publish it, even though I'm going to use other people's work that they haven't even posted on any platform, and that was stupid of me. He already had to answer some things to you... now imagine if someone puts it somewhere else that creates some confusion about it... I'll ask Heytor to talk to you before he does anything. I'm sorry!
(we didn't talk about everything here, other things were in private)
Heytor already said. Kyle is my friend and he knows Heytor, he was the one who recommended Heytor to me. Don't worry, I think Heytor will remove the images or change to public domain. He's trying to avoid these issues.
It was in private, I didn't use any platform. I don't think I'm gonna use these artwork. I'm gonna try to create the map using an art I've found here. https://opengameart.org/content/map I'm using to many directions in my campaign.
He allowed me to use them licensed, but he'll not publish it. These licenses should be enough and if I don't use them it's because there are issues in the game community and I'm avoiding headaches. I'll let you know.
Hey man, I just registered! Thank you so much for doing this! :)
You didn't need to post these images so quickly - like I said: I'm still deciding whether I'm actually going to use them. But they look wonderful! You resized them, and didn't lost quality?! That's impressive! I'm still looking to see if a map would be an option, but from what I can see it won't be. The good artists are busy, and I don't know the old continent of the game very well, so... I think I'm gonna use these! :) I don't think it's blurry, it's perfect for that game - the artwork they have has a somewhat blurred style. Kyle said you're using his email... XD! He didn't want to post the sound effects he created but he gave you his email... I mean... what? *_* There is no need to do further editing to fix some things, it's just fine! Sorry for any inconvenience about licenses and AI stuff! I'd use AI to create images, but they said NO! There was a whole discussion about the issue, policies and ethics. There are no more artists around, AI would be great to fill that gap - I used AI to create schedule images, it's a very small image, but the director didn't allow me use it. Rules are rules... moving on! Thank you again, Heytor!
