Your screen has a very high response time which basically means it takes a while for pixels to change color.

This is common with laptops where power consumption is the priority above all else.

The blur happens as several pixels are transitioning from color A to color B at the same time. It is most noticable on vertical or horizontal scroll and when the difference in brightness (color) of the pixels is fairly small (Such as the case with most of FLARE's artwork)

Basically, it's a hardware issue, not one with FLARE.

Just testing something, feel free to remove this post. Some permission issues apparently.

old_school, you are an idiot. Not only did I not ask you to spam me with your stupid shit, but you managed to expose the email of everyone who's ever contacted your scamming fake company.

Your condescending tone is not amusing.

I'm sorry to hear that you are using IE, but that should not interfere with your reading comprehension.

Gods and Idols is not a web based game, which should be obvious from the "Download" link on the front page, or the videos for that matter.

Your unwillingness to provide even required basic information such as where in the world the job takes place. Followed up by your condescending incompetence and pretend company just makes you laughably silly.

Hell, you couldn't even type the URL to your "company" website properly, four w's?

The email I sent:

Dear Sir,
I came across your posting about a VB contracting offer and would like some more information.
What is the timeline for the project?
When does the contract begin and how long does it run for?
What is the payment for the contract?
When is it paid out?
Is the contract on-site or via the internet?

As for my credentials I have extensive knowledge of VB as well as DirectX and OpenGL. My specialty is network programming with a focus on massively multiplayer online solutions. My skills are well reflected in the MMORTS game Gods and Idols, found at www.Godsandidols.com

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Johannes Pihl, founder APIStudios, lead developer of Gods and Idols

The reply:

Thank you Johannes Pihl; Before we could disclose any information you have requested, we first must go through the standard hiring process (submit resume, interview and hire etc.). If you have a further interest in any of our projects, please submit your resume with your professional portfolio for further review. Than you.

What I now know:
Don't know where job is
Don't know when job is
Don't know for how long job is
Don't know how much job pays
Don't know when job pays (as in, is it a "share profit" type thing?)

UOK Software refuses to answer the above, disregards perfectly fine portfolio (If they dont want a link to an active, large project then I sure as hell don't know what they want) demands interview but refuses to tell where or how that interview would be held. And still expects me to send more information without even telling where the job is! For obvious reasons, knowing where you are supposed to work is pretty damned important if you plan on showing up...
