The crops look potentially useful, but it seems a little odd that the building is in isometirc format when the crops are not. Do you have a sample of how you recommend placing them on a game screen?
I think that the submitters of uploads like this have their hearts in the right place. I commend them for wanting to contribute artwork here. I don't think these cause any harm or anything.
Oh, I do have to point out, though, that the copyright/attribution notice of "Free to use for any goal as long as you give me credits." is not compatible with the CC0 license.
Geez. You might as well ask if we really need another fantasy RPG, shoot-em-up in space, Flappy Bird clone, zombie game, or pretty much anything that would go with ANY of the graphics on this site.
If it's what people what to make art for, and what people want to make games for, and the kind of games people want to play, then YES!
These kinds of graphics are adaptable to a wide range of game types. Unless you have an inherent dislike of anything "cute," you could find all sorts of use for these images. If you just don't like fun, cartoony images then just download something else.
Calvej4, the great thing about Kenney releasing these graphics as CC0 is that he is already telling everyone that they can use them however they want - paid or free. He requests you credit him, but even that isn't necessary.
It is unreasonable. If that was in the cards it would have happened already. Being pushy about it is just poor form.
