Dunno if you're still around but it sounds like it could be done fairly easy in Zynn, the reverb is doing a lot of the work. Both the rising appregios and the main melody.
I'm getting a lot more results from "Top Down" that seems to fit, but as far as specific terminology goes that is a blind spot.
Well... be the change you want to see I guess. Seems there's something I agree needs to be done and I searched "Birds Eye" with no results so I'll make some true top down templates and tag them as "birds eye view" and cross my fingers it catches on.
Yeah that's the plan. I watched through them again and noticed this big "stretchy but weirdly stiff" quality. Like a robot made out of silly putty. Also zooms are really popular. The ultimate goal is to do a series of face animations ala Pathologic 2 dialog in the style of the Zelda CDi games.
Edit: I made another attempt. Better (worse?) than the goth chick I made. It's an animated gif so you have to download it to view it. :/ I get the feeling to make it more authentic the hair should be doing it's own weird stuff. And it's a bit subtle in the movement category (though it's only like 7 unique frames).
This is a nice little ambience track. Good tension but it's not so straight up horror it couldn't be used for anything else. I could see this being a piece of music to show anxiety in an rpg or adventure (including horror) game but have, on a separate track, music fade in that contextualizes the anxiety as something scary, dreadful or giving relief.

No problem I enjoy sharing it. Inconsistent as it may be. :)
And I've been using computers since the 90s. I know how stuff can be.
Thanks it worked!

I don't think it sounds like the track from the level, but there is a level named that iirc. It's themed around an evil carnival anyway.

very Dark and Spooky. But there's a bit of wonder in the melodic percussion(?). It would be great to have in the background of a game of mothership.
I like it. Definitely has a very laid back, homey feel to it. I could also see it used for a little lakeside cabin or a campsite during the day.
