This is the Fourth installment of a set of magic icons.
The first installment is here.
The second installment is here.
The third installment is here.
Each spell comes in three power levels. Additionally most spells have several (up to nine) color variations. The colors were chosen for their distinctness, and to support and wide range of possible classes of magic and or damage types. For instance the red version of the "enchant weapon" spell could be used to add fire damage to weapons. Game designers can figure out how to best apply these art assets to their system.
This set was made in cooperation with the Weaver Project, so different colors variations are sometimes used used.
- Air Burst: 4 colors
- Fire Arrows: 5 colors
- Fog: 7 colors
- Light: 7 colors
- Link: 4 colors
- Ice Needles: 5 colors
- Rip: 5 colors
- Shielding: 4 colors
- Slice: 4 colors
- Wind grasp: 5 colors
All icons are 256x256, but have been designed to be easily recognizable down to 32x32.
If you find these icons useful, I'd appreciate it if you send me a line, with a link to your project -- just to satisfy my curiosity.
Also I can probably be commissioned to extend or expand this set at a reasonable rate.

Thanks from Weaver :D
Like the rest of the set, they look great.
Always look forward to seeing these. :)
Another great set! The more I see of these icons, the more I'm tempted to work spells into my game. It's a nice touch they easily resize to icon size.
We use many of your icons in our game - thanks!
Thanks for the warm reception :)
Lovely work.
I hope to use some of it in my first Indie game!
Best regards
Madra Dubh.
Great icon set... will be definitively using this on our upcoming indie game for android.
Great icons may i use them for my own game? I don't understand the world of licenses well yet. :-)
Then click on the licence links. They are explained simply.
does multiple license always mean i can choose one of em? or in some cases they provide multi layer protection?
You can choose any one of the listed licences that you want to.
Hi there. ^^
I adapted some of your amazing icons to match the attack icons in Wesnoth.
Here I posted them: http://opengameart.org/content/attack-icons-wesnoth
I drool whenever I see one of these sets
Awsome!!
Very good set of icons! Thanks.
All four installments look just great, and when I get into gear of setting up my game, I would really like to use some from them. still would be a while before I could show anything but the gears are fitting into place. thank you for your hard work
Ill be using these arts for my new card game :)
ill post the link soon
One of the best icon sets for spells ever made. Love the artwork and the variations. Using all 4 sets.
Very good assets
