This is fantastic, thanks! I think we can make use of this in the next release of Allacrost. :)

Looks great! Is there a reason this isn't dual-licensed GPL v3?

EDIT: After looking at the credits, it looks to me like everything that you reference is already dual-licensed as GPL v3. If you're okay with dual-licensing your contributions as well, that would be great.

No reason not to dual license GPL. Added new license.

Reemax, do you know the source of the book laying on the bottom shelf? Is that your work (CC BY-SA / GPL)?

I ask because I created a shelves tileset rework that uses that book (found in LPC Submissions Merged), but I don't know who created it.

Edit: Your credits.txt attributes Sharm for the shelves & cabinets, but I haven't found a submission of hers yet that has that book in it.

Edit: Also, are the cobwebs your work?

Yes, they are mine work but I thought those are so trivial so I did not take credit for them.

So, would the book & cobwebs be considered CC0?

I have never thought leaving out trivial contribution could lead to CC0...

Well, the book could be CC0 it is so simple. Cobwebs are draw with slight opactity, so the background the contains pixels from Sharm's cabinet. Is background pixels still strong enough to keep CC-BY-SA? I do not know.

I guess it just depends on if they are on their own layer or not. I was more concerned about the book anyway. :)

Thanks Reemax.

Just to be clear, failing to explicitly credit yourself does NOT mean your work is assumed to be CC0; if something is not specifically credited, I think it's safe to assume it's the work of the author (especially when everything else is so clearly spelled out, as it is in all of Reemax's submissions) and that it's licensed the same as the rest of the submission.

I think what AntumDeluge was asking though is if you'd be willing to license the books and the cobwebs you added as CC0, knowing that Sharm's original shelf would keep its original license. But I'm not sure why he cares, since his whole asset will need to be at least CC-BY anyway, and crediting "Lanea Zimmerman (Sharm) & Tuomo Untinen (Reemax)" isn't much longer than just crediting "Lanea Zimmerman (Sharm)"

That makes a lot of sense bluecarrot16. And now you've got me wondering why I was worried about it. I wanted to show the licensing of the book in my submission, & probably would have assumed the licensing of the whole submission. But when Reemax talked about it being trivial & not taking credit for it, I was a little confused. Perhaps it would be safer to use this submission's licensing for it since it is part of a larger work, like bluecarrot16 says, even if it is trivial.
