[CLOSED] Graphical Improvement of 2D Graphics
Hello everyone,
I'm programming a 2D game, which is nearly finished, and I already have added it on Steam Greenlight and IndieDB. The game will not be open-source, and I will set it for about 1-5$. I already have made my own graphics, but the community on Steam/IndieDB gave me the feedback, that I need to improve the unit graphics. Since I lack skills at making really beatiful 2D graphics, I probably need your help on that.
I've attached some units (just examples), which represent the current graphical level of the units in game. There are on the whole about 100 units.
You can help me in one of these ways:
- Explain me, how to create better graphics. I would be happy if I could learn from you. :) (for example via skype, OpenGameArt Chat or any another way we can communicate.)
- Forward me to a good tutorial, which explains how to create good 2D graphics.
- Improve the graphics and send them to me. I would like to manage it the following way: Since I don't want to publish the whole graphics, yet. You can send me an e-mail kenten.fina@freenet.de and I will send you the whole graphic set of my game. Then you can either send me the improved graphics per e-mail or publish them on OpenGameArt.org with any license you want and which allows me to use these graphics in my game (that means no license, which excludes commercial use).
Important: When improving the graphics:
- DO NOT CHANGE THE SIZE!
- Keep the rough contour of the original unit. (So the Spider should still look like a spider afterwards. And the postions where weapons are located, should NOT be modified.
Of course you will be added to the credits of the game and if you have improved a couple of graphics, I will also share some of the earned money via PayPal.
If you have questions or want to specify details, either reply on this topic or write me an e-mail ( kenten.fina@freenet.de )
Thanks in advance!
