Lookin' good captain!
The amount of new possibilities for character designs added by this is amazing. I am so grateful for all the work we have been doing together, you are truly an amazing pixel artist! Can't wait to put these pirates to use in Herodom :)
If you ever plan on revisiting this pack, bluecarrot, a blunderbuss or flintlock using the thrust animations like the crossbow would be useful, and would give an era-accurate alternative to the bow and arrow..
Thanks!
Great suggestions FiveBros; I don't have any immediate plans to revisit this set, but here are some other ideas I had brainstormed:
Nice! The boarding axe is a really good idea, the breeches would also be really useful for even non-pirate seafarers as well. Here's some further ideas: powdered wig, because what pirate king is complete without a prestitgous white hairpeice. Additionally, what skallywag is complete without a parrot for his shoulder? A hard part of that idea, though, wold be the parrot's movements. It could move as the owner moves, but the animations would get repetetive if the same one happens every time the pirate moves in that direction.
