A collection of original 16x16 monsters, most with three-frame walk cycles. I drew/acquired them for my procedural RPG, Eman Quest (https://deengames.itch.io/eman-quest). These are scaled up to 64x64, but can be shrunk to 16x16 if you wish.
The single-frame crab and the pelican are derived from images, which I shrank to a small size and manually cleaned-up.
If you end up using these in a project, please tweet me at @nightblade99, I'd love to see how you're using them.

Nice!
what images were used for the crab and pelican?
@MedicineStorm honestly, I don't remember. I made these several months ago. I redrew over them, so they should be okay as far as intellectual property goes - the originals were actual photos.
Ok. Sounds like they're probably fine.
For the future, keep in mind using photos as a guide makes the artwork a derivative of the photo, regardless of how long ago it was, regardless of if they were actual photos, regardless of the difference in resolution; Photo's have licenses... so a photo's license must allow derivatives to be licensed CC0. Not remembering what the source was will render the asset unusable.
You know what - you're right. I'll delete those assets. It's better to be on the safe side. From what I know about copyright (at least in North America), this is a sufficiently changed process that it wouldn't be a derivative. But, I'd rather be on the safe side.
Looking good, Night Blade! Thanks for uploading those.
