Terraform Uranus Design Document

For the coding phase of the competition I've decided to work on a kind of space based farming game in Javascript/HTML5.
I've started by creating a fairy detailed design document for the game, if you're interested please take a look: https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1TCdSgCc6PrvpZOt32olN8uqtWskyRSI...
The exact details of what crops/livestock will be available in the game will obviously depend on what’s created in the art phase (I know daneeklu is working on an excellent set of tiles for about 6 different crops).
Is anyone interested in forming a team to implement this design for the coding phase?
Nice idea, basic colonisation of a planet. We have our own goals so I wont be available. But I noticed few cosmetic things in your design and wish to point them:
1- I recommend changing planet to mars. Uranus has average surface temperature around -200 degrees while mars is -60
2- 100% oxygen = combustion of everything, your aim should be to reach a stable point at about 20%, worst part about mars is it has no nitrogen to balance oxygen - carbon dioxide rate. carbon dioxide more than 1% can be deadly for some organisms (around 5-10% for humans). However, it contains enough nitrogen for biodomes to exist. So it might be about having sustainable biodomes (atmospheric pressure of mars wont be able to support life (as we know it) anyway.
This would be an interesting sim game if executed properly and I might be the biggest fan of it. You have to research the topic have a nice game. Good luck.

I think Uranus has lots of comic potential.
Glad you didn't call this the Terraforming Uranus Resource Document though :p
Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
For the competition I'll probably only have time to work on the farming side of the game, so like you say, the terraforming stuff isn’t that well thought out yet. The basic idea is it gives the player more interesting resources to manage than a just cash for buying everything/selling crops game.
And yes, Uranus was chosen for it's comic value.
