LPC-Spritesheet

Eliaquim
Thursday, July 19, 2018 - 19:33

Hello guys. First of all sorry for my bad English. I'll get right to the point, and introduce myself at the end of the topic.

I would like to know if I could use these sprites in a commercial project that I am developing in RPG MAKER MV> http://gaurav.munjal.us/Universal-LPC-Spritesheet-Character-Generator/ I have read several documents about the creative commons and GNU license, including those of the link I posted. Because my English is bad, I'm still not sure if I could use it in a commercial project. From what I understand, I can use yes as long as I make available the sprites I use for free. Would it be this? Could someone tell me in an objective way, with a few words, whether or not I can use it in commercial projects? My name is Eliaquim Nascimento, I'm from Brazil and I'm entering the games area. I finished a Human Resources faculty and I did not like it. Finally I found myself in the games area, though I do not know anything about programming or art. I'm really starting from scratch, and these sprites would be of great help to me.

Thanks everyone.

Yes, you may use LPC assets in a commercial project so long as you do the following:

  1. give credit (list all the authors in your project's credit screen or credits.txt file)
  2. make the art available (the LPC art has to be accessable- in a usable format- to all your users)
  3. share any derivatives (any art you make that is based on the LPC art has to be licensed the same way: CC-BY-SA and GPL)
