eThlete - 2D sports game

I am currently working on a game called eThlete (a mix between athlete and eSports). It is a 2D sports game, inspired by Track and Field / Hyper Olympics and similar games. The goal is it, to make a simple and easy to learn party game.

I am working on it since december 2017 and the game currently has 5 discplines:

  • 100m dash
  • 110m hurdles
  • 800m run
  • long jump
  • high jump

The following disciplines are planed for the future (and more will hopefully follow:

  • tripple jump
  • hammer throw
  • javelin throw
  • marathon (as a little joke :D)

I wrote about this project on the developer forum java-gaming.org (link) and I will post the progress there. The game is currently in version 0.5.1 and it is available for android, desktop and html (download links). The art is made by myself and even if I am a little proud, it is pretty ugly. Therefore I am now looking for some real arts and I hope that I find something on this forum. I won't sell the game, it is only a hobby project and I'll probably open-source it, once I think the code is publishable.I am not looking for a professional, as I won't be able to pay much for it. Instead, I would like to find someone, who wants to be part of a hobby-project like this, to gain some experience.    So, if you are interested, just contact me and we can talk about any of the details :)     Thanks.
