I didn't fully remove a dependency in my 1.0 release so you will need to install avbin to run the game. 

Ubuntu has a libavbin0 package that will work.  It looks like Fedora doesn't have a package available in the repositories. 

You could also grab the 1.1 release of the code, although it was uploaded after August 1st.  The only change made is to not initialize the music files when not playing with music.
