Wow! now thats what i call quality assets.
SOUND IDEAS INUNDATION WARNING
i've heard "Click_Electronic_00" and "Click_Electronic_14" used in 1997's Take No Prisoners frequently
Ehm, could you please send me link to the sounds you mean. I'm glad you're interested in my sounds and I can give you my word that I made all of these sounds with the massive synthesizer in Pro Tools.
In this youtube gameplay video of the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkZ-6FXV-nY
I can hear a similar sound to Click_Electronic_14, although the sound from Take No Prisoners are lower pitched, has a harder timbre and lacks the high frequence attack I have in mine.
I couldnøt find the Click_Electronic_00 reference.
Please let me know if this is convincing enough, or if there is any other means I can convince that I'm actually making my own sounds.
It isn't.
I mentioned Take No Prisoners because it pretty much uses the bare original sample, just baked to 11khz 8bit mono for use in a video game. Yours is the same exact sound played at the different pitch, and it's not the only sound.
It is important for me to point this out as this community is rooted into Free Software, where infractions can go viral due to the license it's under, and SoundIdeas materials aren't CC-BY compatible.
(And it certainly isn't the first sound designer i've seen to claim original work with SoundIdeas samples get away in Free Software communities with dishonesty)
Fantasticly creative set. Many thanks!
Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that I'm using two handfuls of these in my game Electric Rogue. They were the best fits I could find, and improve the game considerably. Thank you!
