The tear trails her face taking the same path as the others have before it. Lingering for just a moment until it falls from her face to break itself upon a translucent crystal being clutched tighter in her hands. Light pulsates dimly from it, nowhere near the splendor it once had. A small humming accompanies what little light emanates from the crystal. It was the only illumination within these caverns and its energy is quickly fading. How long has she been wandering these caverns? Her teeth clench together as a few more tears leave the edge of her eyes. The silence between the pulsations of light are getting longer and longer. Until at last the light from the crystal touches her face for the last time as the crystal grows cold within her hands....
