UPDATE: Now with a far superior (though still far from perfect) 12-frame run cycle! As with the prior update, the full sheets have not been rebuilt, so the new animation is only in char-parts.png and you'll have to build the full frames yourself. The running-and-shooting demo GIF still shows the oldest, 4-frame run cycle, and probably always will!
Presenting my spacier version of surt's Space Merc. This gun toting armoured space person can aim in 48 directions while running.
Also includes weapon fx and collectible/power ups.

Got inspired to make an OGA Sarah version.
After I finally noticed zwonky's comment, it inspired me to add some different colour schemes for the character, and try to make it easier to recolour.
For my own amusement, and because I haven't found time lately to work on anything much new, I brought the final boss of Turrican 2 into the Super Dead Space Merc art set. No license for this guy, obviously. He's only visiting to take part in a mockup. All the other assets in this image are from other subs in the series.

Hey, all your work is amazing, it would be great if you did more different animations of the body and hands so that we could give him something like pistols, grenade launchers, etc., but of course it depends on you.
