I really like these, though I think it would improve them to tone down the white halo around the outside. Other than that, great work!
These are quite nice. It would be great if you could upload the sources (.xcf, .psd or whatever the native format of your image editor is) aswell, though.

Would it be okay for me to use this without the black background? I just need orbs. I've done the work to remove the background from the .pdn. It still has black inside the orb, just not outside. I don't want to use it if you aren't okay with it.
If I remember correctly the "black background" was a separate layer ... anyways , YEAH its "CC0" so you can use this art as you see fit (its public domain now).

Used this for my 'vortex bomb', the light orbs. Pretty amazing what you can do with these guys and some flashes, heh! I am using this for my game 'Space Marauder'. A top-down shooter made in HTML5 with Construct 2. Check it out:
