Based on the concept by raymoohawk: http://raymoohawk.deviantart.com/art/octaminator-528415081

This character is not at all optimised for real-time rendering, it is intended to be pre-rendered into sprites. The game-engine-ready version is also available here on opengameart.

Model + rig. Auto-IK is enabled, you can just grab bones and move them to animate the tentacles and arms. Materials are set up for cycles. The model is in many pieces, some of which have curve modifiers and stuff holding them together. You should probably tweak the lighting and materials as needed for your project.

I could probably use that in the labs level as one of the monsters.  do you have a ship

s pilot's chair yet?  .   its similar modern design to the one they use in mass effect.

I'm afraid you can't release it under CC0, because it's deriviative work, so raymoohawk owns copyright to it.

Although you can try to ask raymoohawk for a permission. He will likely agree if license would something like CC-BY

raymohawk's page says "a monster im doing for freedoom"

and freedoom has BSD license, which is equivalent to CC-BY. So you can probably still use it, crediting raymohawk

Thanks for clarification Nikita. raymoohawk and I agreed on public domain before I released it. Tozan, I did make a sci-fi chair, no idea whether it'll fit in your game though.
