I'm thinking of making an CC0 shared universe called Sustelas, a fantasy setting. This is a map of the the extents of the Pandemos empire, which aimed to be an empire of all peoples. The astute cartographer might notice this is just a map of Venus if it had seas, with some creative reshuffling of some names (Ishtar is changed into Tarish, for example). The intention is to have a "standard map" that is not Earth, and the other planets are too terraformed by meteorites.

The idea of a public domain universe is amazing, may I ask how you came up with it? It's because a few days ago I had the same idea and wrote about it on my website -- is this just a coincidence? :D I really love someone you're attempting this.
Great idea! Do you have any fantasy cultures or species to inhabit the land? Coincidentally, I'm working on a fantasy/romance setting which takes place on various planets and moons in the local solar system. Its slow going, but I'm picking up and developing ideas here and there and this is inspiring.
