Love that farm animal set. Out of curiosity, it looks the same as the chicken in the farm animal set. Did you change it at all besides the format?
Some of the frames are slightly edited. But not by much.
Edit: The legs of the center frames are taken from the eating sprites. And there are a couple more very tiny edits to give the chicken more of the motion that I want.
Edit: I will probably do some re-colors as well.
Yes, it would be interesting to have some more varieties of chickens:
That idea reminds me of the recoloring of the pig to make it look like a boar.
Good luck on Stendhal! I'm going to try it out in the near future.
A rooster would be nice. :)
There is a small chick rework that I did too, but it is not as detailed as the LPC chicken.
Edit: I'd like to do a little more work to the boar as well. Try to make a version that looks a little more like a wild pig.

I wanted to use your great Lpc Chicken Rework artwork on this page for my game, which may become commercially avaialable.
I have modded the sprite in some instances (attached other sprites to it, clothes such as hats, and colour for example)
