Possible assets for Freedoom's intermission screens. Someone would need to use the images from the first two assets, place the other images on top and animate them. 3 screens are needed, with a total of 27 + 1 unique buildings. (WIP) Some of these levels could be replaced eventually, but here's a brief description of what each screen should look like:

Episode 1: Outpost Outbreak. An alien planet that looks similar to Earth, there should be trees and a river of green toxic water going through it. All maps besides 10 have a repeating animation.

  • E1M1: Outer Prison, besides the titular building there's a waterfall in the map, it could be this map's animation.
  • E1M2: Communication Center, mostly indoors map, you can see an outside spot with a giant "AGM" sign.
  • E1M3: Waste Disposal, indoors map, perhaps smoke coming out of a chimney could work.
  • E1M4: Supply Depot
  • E1M5: Armory
  • E1M6: Training Facility
  • E1M7: Xenobiotic Materials Lab
  • E1M8: Outpost Quarry
  • E1M9: Nutrient Recycling, secret level.
  • E1M10: Not a real map, but there's an arrow pointing to the spot in a certain version of the game, it'd be an easter egg.

Episode 2: Military Labs. The same planet as the first episode, but this place should feel lifeless. Techbases gradually merge into ancient alien buildings. 8 has an increasing amount of frames for each level beaten, 9 appears out of nowhere then disappears.

  • E2M1: Elemental Gate, arena shaped ancient building.
  • E2M2: Shifter
  • E2M3: Reclaimed Facilities
  • E2M4: Flooded Installation
  • E2M5: Underground Hub, has the access to secret level.
  • E2M6: Hidden Sector
  • E2M7: Control Complex
  • E2M8: Containment Cell
  • E2M9: Fortress 31

Episode 3: Horizon. A bright red planet, castles, temples, caves and volcanos take the place of the techbases. Easiest one to animate, as only a few maps are animated.

  • E3M1: Land of the Lost
  • E3M2: Geothermal Tunnel
  • E3M3: Sacrificial Bastion, the only techbase.
  • E3M4: Oblation Temple
  • E3M5: Infernal Hallows
  • E3M6: Igneous Intrusion, has the access to secret level.
  • E3M7: No Regrets
  • E3M8: Ancient Lair
  • E3M9: Acquainted With Grief

Download Credits File

OpenGameArt.org can automatically generate a single credits file for all of the art in this collection. Please note that, while we tried our best, this file is in no way guaranteed to be accurate, and properly attributing the work you distribute with your project remains your responsibility. You'll want to load up this file in a text editor, check to make sure everything looks good (and that any special attribution instructions are followed), and then delete the notice at the top of the file, as the notice is designed to make you look very silly if you don't check over the file and remove it.

I understand that I'll end up looking really stupid if I didn't read the above paragraph, and want to download the credits file.
