Bone Breaker Sword
Looks good. :)
Edit: Wish I knew how to use Blender.
Not bad, but some pointers for improval:
- The hilt should be iron as well, it looks like bone but it stands out too much without reason (either give it more bone like shape/fang/claw or put a small skull or something in there), it also has a circle like thing that could be erased
- Both hilt and handle are subsurf`ed (subdivision modifier) they could be done with far less polys with a few extruded circles to save on lots of polys(remember to erase faces that wont show up because they are inside other objects).
- There are a few flipped normals at the crossguard, you can see they dont show at the pic.
- The leather texture in the handle should either spiral upwards or join seamlessly at the edges, you can see an ugly cut there atm.
- You shouldnt just use colored materials for the blade, for the black part, use the same texture as the back iron part but scale it more so the spots are much smaller; you can even draw some orcish runes in there. For the edgy part you should get a bruised steel texture.
- Enlarge the blade, its more of a dagger rigth now.
- Did you tell blender to make textures paths relative? if not blender cant find them at other computers, you should download your own work and try it out in a different folder. I cant see any applied textures, and you erased the camera, why?
-Upload first your best picture, if i didnt enter i would think it was totally untextured because of the first picture.
Sorry for that list, but i have been moddeling in blender for a few years now and thougth you could use those pointers to improve. I added technical, artistic and good modelling practics that take time to develop and migth be hard for you rigth now. Anyways, you did far better than i did in my snowman first ever model. Congrats!
