noob blender question

I downloaded this wolf and I can't find the armature. I know it's there, because I can see it in the outliner, but it isn't visible. As far as I can tell it isn't hidden, so I can't unhide it, and x-ray mode is already enabled. How can I make it so I can see it?
The armature is on layer 2. But first you will need to change edit mode to object mode, so you can see the layers on the bottom of the window(blender 2.79).
