I really like this piece and would love to use it in my pet project but I'm unsure how to implement the licence? :/

If I use this do I add the name of the aithor 'Telaron' and a link back to this page? or do I need to get permission specifically from the author?

Generally, the GPL does not require attribution, but you project has to be GPL'ed aswell, I suppose.

I would have to release the game under the GPL license completely freely? I will probably never finish the game and if I did it probably would be free because it would be too bad for anyone to pay for :P but I'm just confirming :)
