Assets for a castlevania-like platformer I mocked up quite some time ago. Stiff and kinda crappy animation on the main character. Includes tiles, two parallax backgrounds, a main character, and a really badly-done bat. Colors on the exterior environment could use some love, but that was one of a whole bunch of things I didn't have the time to address.

Looks great! Definitely the Jetrel style. Here's some additional previews I made for the main character walk and attack animations to see how they look in motion. They're at about 12 frames per second.

Totally lovin' the background and tiles! Also the color you picked makes me fallin' in love :D
With these awesome reference, maybe I can expand resource resources based on this and apply it in my game. Of course, the game I'm currently working on is a Castlevania clone but spiced a bit :D
It's still in progress, so I'll show the result later :D
Even though it's crappy, the character's sprite is quite well done BTW.
P.S.: I'm an in-training pixel artist and game developer.

I don't know if I'll really get around to making a full game, but I've tried some simple sprite-rendering with HTML canvas recently, and this main character sprite comes in handy for testing. Thanks for releasing this! :)
