OGA Pixel Art Tutorial parts 1 & 2: Choosing a pixel editor, and configuring your Krita workspace for Krita art.
Spoiler: My favorite program from Part 1 is Krita, although I cover a number of editors, and you don't need to be using Krita to follow along with later videos. You can safely skip the second video if you're not interested in Krita, although I'd recommend checking it out. :)

I would suggest trying to keep those as compact as possible, plan ahead on what you will be showing, cut out the parts that are less interresting, make multiple takes if necessary. It would be also good to preview what you are trying to show what you want to archive, for example, show how you are using the pixel art workspace before progressing to setting it up, or show a short synopsis of each graphics application before showing them in detail.
It's funny, I did all that stuff on the first video and I still ramble.
I made an outline, I cut out a bunch of extra stuff, I lost count of the number of takes I did (probably somewhere around 10, although most of them were false starts), I did a quick summary at the beginning, etc. You might be surprised to see how much I actually edited out.
Clearly my tutorial style needs work. :)

I've just correct the bug with the select tool. In fact, it's not really a select tool, more like a make a custom brush from a region tool and by this way it allow to cut/copy/paste region.
There are also cut/copy/paste on the timeline (but it's not really obvious in the interface)
I didn't hear any mention of indexed-mode image handling.
As far as I'm concerned this is possibly the single most important attribute of a proper pixel editor.
The complete absence of any indexed-mode at all makes this the biggest weakness of Krita as a pixel editor.
Yeah, I don't believe it has indexed mode, but since that's something I don't turn on and off all the time, I can always load an image into a different editor when I'm done if I need indexed colors.
