1- Could i use it to develop an iphone app using the set?  -  yes

2- Does the app developed has to be free?  -  no (You just need to attribute the author.)

3- What type of attribute of the work do I need to put on the "about" page of the app.  -  ask the author

Just CC-BY means that you have to attribute.
