By the way, I just posted an animated imp made by Redshrike. This was commissioned before I started this thread. This is just another example of money I've already put on the table for good artists to make some quality work happen.
I should really revisit this and make it look better. It needs a trailing slash to make the animation alive and the angles are all wrong. Let's put this one on a shelf and tag it "to be continued" until I graduate or until I get a real break from work and I'm not being dragged half way around the world by my family to visit people.

I added another yellow, this one is the same coloring as the other but the luminance was reduced quite a bit.
I tried making another autumn tree but it still doesn't look perfect. I tried using colors from a nice autumn picture but it didn't work so well. I have a book called Color Index (books.google.com/books/about/Color_Index.html?id=Ltyzbe31K4EC&redir_esc=y) that I used to pick 7 colors and then I just tweaked the luminance, hue, and saturation until it looked closer to right. Does autumn 3 look more like an autumn tree and less light a highlighter?
I'm pretty sure Apple sued the snot out of Samsung in like 50+ countries for using that design. You might want to modify it slightly so it has another button or it looks different than the iPad. Just a thought.
Is the animated torch what you had in mind Curt & Bertram? If you need another color I'm happy to recolor the flames in a yellow coloring like the originals.
We're nearing the end of day 7 now. Would anyone like to comment on their progress? We're at the half-way point and there's still an open commission up for grabs. You can ask Sharm how easy the money is to get if you're good, she got a decent paycheck from me over the course of 3 weeks. I'm not going to mention exact figures because that's between us but it was enough to make a good car payment plus some (maybe two depending on the car).

By the way, what does anyone think of the recolor jobs I did with the trees? Those were by suggestion of someone I'm working with to make a game ;)
I just had a thought while driving home through one of the villages here in Germany. Do we have any kind of Heraldry graphics on OGA? Any symbols like crowns, ornate arrows, stylized flowers, crazy looking lions, or anything else that looks like a medieval shield or coat of arms? That's something that may need rectifying if we don't. That's a reasonably simple request and a set of maybe 20 graphics as 32x32, 24x24, and 16x16 icons would be enough to draw tons of different stuff if anyone's interest...
I sent the original graphic artist a message asking if she would change the license to CC0 to reflect the description. I'm hoping she's willing and does change it became it's 2+ years old.
