I am using Logic Pro X. As far as Vsts go I just use the stock synths that come in Logic. I do very little sound synthesis and usually just tweak presets and layer them to make new sounds. Then a little EQ and compression on the master track to help glue it together and that is about it.
Good song! I love that "whoo ooh" rise and fall effect in there that sells the underwater feeling for me =)
