Other: River/streams, walking paths, different icons (potions, health '+', etc) to put on existing houses to denote that they are special in some way
I was planning on Ubuntu, since I already have a server with it (albeit an older than current version) so I have a bit of experience with it. But wanted to make sure since this is brand new for me in terms of making code run on non-windows

I'll be using C++ with SDL and SDL_gfx (http://www.ferzkopp.net/joomla/content/view/19/14/) and will be compiling on Ubuntu. I will be using cmake, but will provide the make file
