This may very well be a minority view, but I do think it's important to consider multiple sides.

I strongly believe that erotic content is a bad idea. It promotes the idea that women are just objects to be exploited. I have a deep respect and admiration for women, and I don't like seeing them demeaned in such a way.

In addition, I've never actually heard of a case where erotic content improved a game, book, or movie. Think about it. When you praise a game, is it because women had poor excuses for armor? Or is it because the gameplay was engrossing, the story made you tear up, and the music lit a fire in your soul?

You don't need erotic content to make a wonderful video game, any more than you need sewage to make a delicious omelet.
