I'm thinking it may be too early in the dev process to promote it even though I already love the game. It just has too many problems that will make people take one look at it, say "Huh, how come that was never fixxed." then never go back and look at it again.
Labels like pre-alpha, alpha and beta mean nothing to thesse people.
I made that mistake with my game, now I'm sort of wishing I had not.
I really hate separate library dependencies. The more dependencies it has, the worse of a game it will be to try to compile and run.
Maybe have a map editor / script engine.

1. Diablo 1 has copy protecton that ***s up your cd/dvd drive.
2. Sure, it has been hacked, but the hacked up versions can't compare with what you can do with fully editable freesoftware.
3. Diablo 1 artwork always looked awful.
