Aurochs Bas-Relief / Heightmap
This is a heightmap useful for making a bas-relief. It is based on the ancient Babylonian Ishtar Gate and appears alongside similar dragon and lion reliefs in our upcoming Dumuzid game.

This heightmap can be used in Blender either as part of a material (giving the illusion of depth) or used with the displacement modifier (and a lot of geometry) to actually change the shape of an object. Examples of these two uses are attached.
Note that only the hightmap itself and two simple example Blender files are provided here. Combine this heightmap with other materials (ie brick or plaster) to make it come to life :-)
