Where do I find the cat figurine?
I appear to have somehow made nearly it to the end of Empyrean without finding the cat figurine, and since I think I've completed all the maps, even going substantially backwards at a couple of points to solve the "switch won't budge" in Nazia Underground and Mog Caverns side quests after initially bypassing them. I can't find any mention of where to even begin looking for it, and really don't want to bash my way through a dozen maps to do so. Can someone help me? Feel free to PM me to avoid public spoilers.
The cat figure can be hard to miss. It's on the altar in Buchi's room in Fort Nasu. A message gets displayed mentioning that the figure is there, but the player might not see it in the heat of battle.
I might try to whip up some sort of visual effect to be used in cases like this to get the player's attention.
Thanks, I managed to trace my way back and find it.
I missed it the first time around, because figuring out how to get in that room at all was really freakng annoying and frustrating, so I was distracted. I did not get the hints in the outer room, and even after I figured out that's what they were and how to interpret them with the assistance of the forums here, I bascially wound up just randomly shifting switches back and forth until I made it in.
I am at the sewers.and I don't see a hint on how to flip the 8 switches to open the door to the library. Can someone help me?
As covered elsewhere... consider what the book in the switch room says, then look at the mini-map, and the floors of surrounding rooms. If you interpret what you see correctly, you'll have the clues necessary to solve the puzzle.
It's probably a step more complex than any of the other puzzles in the game, since you can't just totally randomly flip switches and solve it, and the switches don't "lock" once they're in the proper position.
I was in battle and clicked on the book and didn't get a chance to read it.and can't read it again. I saw the symbols on the floor and tried that.
One symbol is an r but it don't make sense
Can you give an example so I can double check to see if I did it
right?
Well, this is akward, i get to the final (i guess) and i don't have 2 figurines , i just have the cat and the owl (Offense and mental), and same as above i would like to skip that search, its not like i don't enjoy but i am kinda tired (those flying birds are some pain for a Brute like me :/ ).
btw i really like the game style, it would be great for some if it could have an online version. I've looking around for a really good online game with this caracteristics, but didn't found one, now i m stuck with Dofus(which is great, but it has a pay to play kind of system).
I apologize, i'm not an english native speaker, my english isn't good either, i don't know how many errors are in this message :( .
There's a browser based version out there, I believe, if you check around on the web site.
The "Infinity Halls" quest is not the finale, it is in fact optional... but I think it is very easy to wind up with the mistaken assumption that it is, and you need all the figurines to finishe the game. The developers may wish to communicate this more clearly.
My Ranger made it to the finale, and got completely wiped by the Final Boss, repeatedly... he feels just way underpowered. Which, in turn, nuked all my gold (very frustrating that there's no way to cache it in the stash and not have it at risk when you're playing). There's a couple of moments where the difficulty level suddenly escalates through the roof (Metzger is another one, he was able to oneshot me, basically... I had to spam healing potions to survive him) and you go from not needing healing potions except occassionaly, to basically needing to spam them near continuously.
In order not to create a new topic, I will ask here - could anyone help find the owl figurine? I went through the whole game again with the goal of completing the "4 figurines" quest, but somehow missed the owl ... I do not know what to do, I think I've been everywhere :)
@Flarefan The owl figure is in the Nazia Mines map, which is in the north-west corner of the Nazia Highlands.
Thanks dorkster, I'm going there :)
