Here's some of the stuff I made for my submission to the OGA game jam. There's a small tileset(my first ever, but feel free to judge harshly), some props and a few baddies. Two of the baddies are edits from Surt's cc0 scraps that I didn't have time to make AI for and never actually made it to submission. I really didn't have it in me to make a proper mockup, but you can see how it looks on the actual game;
(I removed the game, sorry)

I don't require credit but it's always a cool thing to do. Surt probably wouldn't hate you for credit on the Demon Muncher and the Magic Armor, either :P

you said this was your first tileset right? well in that case you did better than most people I know. I do pixel art and tiling. unfortunately I'm not to good at backgrounds or animations but I get by. looking at everything you've done with these is incredible. even if some stuff was edited from pre-existing things you still have talent. good work.
Wow, thanks man! That really means a lot after seeing your stuff. I've been tinkering with pixelart for almost a year now and it saves a lot of time. It's incredibly easy to work with for solo projects but it's difficult to cram detail into such a small area! The game jam was a great excuse to see how much progress I could make using this style, and the results tell me I should stick with it! My primary project is pretty high res, time consuming, forces me to optimize memory consumption/load times and though Iv'e been picking away at it for about 3 years now(on the side) there's not a lot of presentable progress :/
The image is an example of a small area that I made for my main project(it's place and draw, no tiles @.@), which took longer to make than what I submitted to the jam and kinda forced me to explore this new approach lol (it uses glitch assets)
That's really cool. personally I wouldn't have the patience to work on something like that for long. I use Microsoft Paint and Paint.net to make my art so I have the long pain staking process of doing it pixel by pixel and any change needs ALOT of work, so to see people make stuff like this it just motivates me to get better. you have talent so keep working.
