Sprites by Caustik  (http://sprites.caustik.com/)

Sprites is an open-source program for Windows which enables little characters to roam around your desktop with 2D physics. It's network enabled, so the sides of your desktop (left/right/top/bottom) link up to other people who are running the program. If you throw Mario off your screen, for example, he will land on some other person's screen in a different part of the world.

Make your own sprites, submit them on the forum, and let them roam free to visit anyone else who is running the program. Fun way to share your creations :]

This looks kind of interesting, but I don't really want to spend time learning to reformat my sprites for them to be put into it.  Are you interested in just getting sprite sheets that can be used, or are you hoping for the whole thing, formatting and all?

just sprite sheets would be fine w/me

btw -- you can drag and drop your avatar png onto sprites.exe, and it will drop on your desktop - it just won't have animation. he's standing on my web browser right now.
