Edited, finally found out what I was doing wrong :-P Exported as png just fine.

Well... mine certainly look less polished than yours if that's what you mean.

Thing is I kind of can see yours in a professional game, while mine at best in a mobile one.

To me these look more basic but more symbolic or iconic. Kind of the difference between, like, a real eye or a cartoony eye drawing that everyone knows what it is supposed to represent. Both have their uses, but they cause different feelings when you see them.
