Unreal 4 Run into trouble all the tutorials say this

So because of getting too many bone errors with importing Blender models into Unreal 4 I've just about given up....

Unreal 4 imports the 3d mesh of my static player mesh character ok, but when it comes to importing it in as a skeleton mesh (static mesh with Aramature (bones) it just gives me a whole ton of bone importing errors     The Model in question i'm trying to see if someone can finish him off so Unreal 4 can import all of him instead of only being able to import only his mesh, since he came with no animation files, and I need the animation files as well as a working skeleton because this model has a a problem with the bones in the mesh maybe having too many bones in it, is is Called Captain Scar, its on a site called Blender Swap under a CCO license. (last time I looked).

Unreal 4 may only like importing half a dozen or so bones simple rigs, but this Blender model has nearly 40 bones in it. and unreal don't like trying to import it with fbx . and I've been unsucessful in trying to load its bones in and if I can't import the bones in then I cannot assign the animation files to the skeleton so I can't get animation working in this model.
