Another note, I think this looks just fine if you just rotate it with a single frame instead of using the spritesheet animation. So look into that if the size of the spritesheet is bigger than you'd like.
You won't get the stars moving, but could do that with a particle system anyway.
Many thanks! If I end up using this as planned, then I may ask if I can pay you to make a larger one. If all goes well, I will play this behind the hero character at the end of each story, accompanied by music, text, achievement stars, etc.
I was looking for some super obvious sparkle effect to put above dead mobs when they had loot and this works great.
