Looking for 3ds max characters for opensource MMORPG

We are working on a MMORPG based on the Ryzom engine and need new art assets, especially for the vampire /zombie characters. The game is called Mundo Sangre and is a mash-up of a alternate world where vampires, zombies, and typical steampunk/fantasy all coexist. The artwork needs to be in 3ds max format. Looking forward to hearing from you!
fstltna, that game looks and sounds interesting (and quite possibly a lot of fun!). Something you might be interested to know is the community here typically uses blender. One nice feature of blender is it can modify and save in 3DS format. Blender is free to download and use. There are tons of blender models available on this site if you want to have a look around. Everything can be used in commercial products and most are friendly to closed source projects as long as the license terms are honored.

I have blender but wasnt aware it could export to 3ds. The reason i need 3ds artwork is the engine uses that for its internal format. I will look into using blender for developmen.

Concerning models and assets, if you need more than OGA has to offer I can also recommend a visit to www.blendswap.com . The displayed models are all released under creative commons. You only have to take into account the non-commercial attributions CC-BY-NC.
