MillionthVector had to fix one of the ships, that's why i haven't uploaded this pack until now.

I love all of these ship packs. They're well-crafted and imaginative, with each of the factions having their own distinct style. Do you know if these were rendered from 3D, and (if so) if the 3D model files are available somewhere?

I guess all ships with normalmaps are originally 3D. The model files aren't available but i will forward your question to MillionthVector.

Hmm, the thing with releasing the 3D models of the ships is that they were made primarily to be rendered from above, many of them are garbage from just about any other angle, to give you an example of what I mean, I rendered one of the ships from the sides:
